Here I am at 39 weeks!

One Baby Shower
My good friend Julie threw a small shower for me today with several teacher friends and Sheila at Mae's Cafe- a local place known for amazing desserts! We had hot chocolate and a fabulous chocolate raspberry cake, and I got some fun gifts. The rocking chair is a hand painted gift from my friend and department chair who, obviously, is quite artistic!
The Nursery- Ready and Waiting...
Baby Shower in Pennsylvania
The Friday night after Thanksgiving, Rick's Aunt Chris got married down in Philly. I decided it was too late in pregnancy for a trip that far, so I stayed home, but Rick flew down for the weekend. On Saturday, his aunts, sister, and parents had a shower for me, with Rick playing the part of me. I got to listen in on the phone as they "ooohed" and "ahhhed" over all of the gifts. Rick did a great job opening (and modeling!) the gifts. And Chrissy did a great job picking out gifts to keep our little Cate in style (zebra stripes and pearls in Maine?!?!) haha :)
On Sunday, Rick's Uncle Tom, a pilot, took Rick, Chrissy, and Nate up for a plane ride in one of his new planes. Rick, of course, was in heaven, since he usually just has to settle for Flight Simulator on the computer, and Uncle Tom let him fly for a bit. Rick insisted that I include a couple shots of him "in action."
Baby Shower in Ohio
In October we went to Ohio for a baby shower thrown by Aunt Diane and Aunt Kathy. Here are a few pictures from that event. Also, we celebrated Rick's birthday while we were there, so there's a picture of the guys grilling out the night we celebrated. Luckily, Rick's parents were also able to be there for all of the festivities.

This is Lindsay and I in my parents yard. From left in the picture is My Aunt Tish, Uncle Tom, Me, Lindsay, and Aunt Chris. What you see is the nose of my Aunt and Uncle's helicopter. They don't like to drive so they fly everywhere. It does make sense Philly to Harrisburg in 20 minutes. I also think I was born into a family of short people.
These guys are the men from Big Jay's side of the family. From left is me, Then Lindsay's cousin Christopher, Dennis is the guy with the hat and is like a brother to Jay and his family, next is Uncle John, Big Jay's brother from Maryland, then Big Jay and last is Uncle Tommy who lives in Virginia. I am not sure but I think I married into a family of short people.
These are Ziggettes Great Aunt's. On the left is Aunt Tish and on the right is Aunt Chris. They both live in the Philadelphia area and are very excited about being Great Aunt's. This picture was taken in Rockport Mass. The Aunt's have visited Rockport every since they were little and it is nice because it is only about two hours from us.

On October 3rd Ziggettes Great Aunt and Uncle flew up to Kennebunkport for the day. Rick got to spend the day with his Aunt Tish walking on the beach and hanging around the small towns in Maine. Both Aunt Tish and Uncle Tom brought gifts for Ziggette and a treat for Lindsay. It was so nice to see family even if it was just for a short while.

I have already started contacting golf club manufacturers about the future of the LPGA tour. After careful consideration we are going to go with Taylor Made. I feel they will represent her game wonderfully. The clubs she has chosen are:
Driver: Taylor Made Burner 10*, Fujikura Shaft.
3 Wood: Taylor Made R7 Draw Fairway Wood.
Hybrid: 19* and 22* replacing the 3 and 4 irons.
Irons: Taylor Made R7 5 thru wedge.
Wedges: 54*, 60*, 64* Rac Satin TP Wedges.
Putter: 30" Odyssey 550 putter.
Ball: Tiltleist ProV-1x (even though Taylor made does make a good ball, Ziggy has had good success with this ProV-1x and continues to use it).

I am waiting to see if I am going to have a little sister or a little brother. We are calling the baby Ziggy for now since all babies start off as zygotes (that's what happens when Mom is a biology teacher!)
It really doesn't matter whether it is a boy or a girl as long as it is healthy and cute (also must play golf).
