Gramma got Cate her dress for Christmas Eve church. She looked so cute!
We went to the early (4pm) service that is specifically for the infant/toddler/preschool crowd. It was crazy!! Plus, Trinity is such a big church, there were scores of little ones. Cate was so good, though. She's always so observant, and below you can see that she was intensely watching the crowd before the service even started.
Back at home, we wanted to get a few more pictures of Cate in her dress, so she posed by the fireplace. Then it was dinner, bath, and bed, so that she could be ready for Santa's arrival! Mom, Dad, Laurie, and I then went back to church for the 9pm service, while Rick and Zach stayed at home with Cate.

It was good to see you in church if even for a moment! Welcome home! Pastor Mitchell called that service filled with "buckets of crickets" because of all the noise!
