After a 17 hour drive from Maine (we were dodging winter storms), we finally arrived in Ashland on Dec. 20th. It was really nice to have a few days leading up to Christmas to relax and get into the holiday mood. Cate enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and new dogs. Below, hanging out with Grandpa Pappas and Great Grandma Sprague.

We have no windows that Cate can easily see out of at home, so she really loved the big sliding glass doors at Gramma and Grandpa's house. Plus, the birds and squirrels were always at the feeders, so that made it extra exciting. The dogs seemed to enjoy hanging out with her too.
