A beautiful day for a walk in the park

Today was a fantastic, sunny, and warm day- the warmest we've had so far this year. I think it was nearly 75 by this afternoon. After Cate and I had lunch, we went out for a walk through downtown Bath and stopped in at a few of the shops, including a new consignment baby shop that just opened next to the Kennebec Angler. We then headed up to the park at the library so that Cate could get out of the stroller and run around for a bit. I took a whole load of pictures of her, so here's a sampling....

It's so nice to see all the ice gone from the river!

Isn't that a look? Last night we were at a church supper, and our pastor said of Cate, "She has so many great facial expressions. She would have been good in silent films." haha :)
Cate was very interested in this little lady bug and managed to pick it up without squishing it. Right after a took this picture, it flew away, much to Cate's disappointment.
